September 2007-Ouch... way too much time since my last update. We bottled the '05 in May and it all went very well. The wines are great. We also are having our release dinners, with October 1st, as the official release date. I believe there are a few seats left for the Wenatchee dinner on 10/6. Contact Karen if you are interested.
Summer 2006: Racked all. Tasted from all barrels (tough job). All are doing well, just a hint of herbal on the Cab. The Cab Franc is very drinkable now! Syrah and Merlot are again outstanding.
12/8/2005- Wow no notes since 9/7!!! Sorry. Harvest summary: Again another great later summer for growing grapes! At the vineyard we keep getting better at managing the vines, particularly the irrigation. The 2005 vintage should be very good. Those trying to hang grapes too long waiting for the really high sugars may be a little disappointed. But we stuck with the similar regime of harvest decision making and believe we will be very pleased in the end.
