2008 Vintage

5/25/10-  It is embarrassing it has been 18 months since I posted any update.  Well, this update is to announce the bottling is complete. Everything tasted very good.  The cab is showing great promise as is the Syrah.  Should have the lab numbers sometime next week.  Will bottle age for 6 months before release.

11/10/08-  October was a busy month with grapes.  Syrah was last, but now all wine is now in barrels undergoing secondary fermentation.  All grapes and wines are showing excellent promise.

10/19/08- Harvested the Cab Sav

10/14/08- Harvested the Cab Franc

10/5/08- We barreled the Merlot.  11 barrels are now undergoing secondary fermentation.

9/24/08-  We harvested the Merlot grapes.  The flavors are excellent as are the lab numbers.  We crushed 4.5 tons.
