We bottled the 2008 vintage over 3 days- May 21, 22, & 23, 2010.  876 cases total.  Huge thanks to all the helped out.  Perhaps the most diverse group yet:  Chicago, Boise, Portland, Seattle, Omak, and our local Wenatchee area friends.  Each varietal was very good.  Perhaps my favorite was the Cab Sav, with Syrah next.  We will bottle age for 6 months and will plan on releasing sometime in September.  Stay tuned.

Current releases:  We released the 2007 Vintage on September 12, 2009;  Feedback from the release dinner has been excellent; and the Seattle tasting was also a great success.  The '07 is all drinkable now, however the Cab should improve with another 12 to 18 months of aging.  The Merlot is the most drinkable now.

Wine maker notes are here-  2007 Cabernet Sauvignon; 2007 Syrah; 2007 Merlot; 2007 Cabernet Franc; 2007 Tribute

2006 Cabernet Sauvignon; 2006 Syrah; 2006 Merlot; 2006 Cabernet Franc; 2006 Tribute

Hand crafting premium red wine takes lots of time.  From harvest to release for sale is a period of 2 years!  The longest portion of the process is aging the wine in barrel for at least 18 months.  Then it is bottled where it will age for another 3 months.

As I learn more and more about winemaking I am continually struck with the mixture of art and science to this effort.  With each passing season I am able to learn more and peel away some of the mystery of winemaking.  When it all comes together it is very satisfying.  Each vintage has presented unique challenges, but the end result has been some wonderful wine.  It is a very pleasant experience to share a bottle of really good wine with friends and know it is yours!
